How to Check AI-Generated Product Content Before Publishing

AI can draft a product title, description and attributes in minutes — but the seller is responsible for everything published on a marketplace. A wrong material or category means returns, penalty points or complaints. This checklist shows what to check in 2–3 minutes before you hit publish.
1. Don’t trust what the photo can’t show
- Brand: only enter it if it’s clearly visible on the label or product.
- Material: details like “100% cotton” can’t be read from a photo; confirm them from the label or supplier.
- Size, weight, warranty, origin: only write these based on documentation.
Mr.Zeuss E-Commerce Assistant doesn’t invent such details; it leaves fields that aren’t visible empty and flags them for review. The final check is still yours.
2. Verify the category
In the wrong category, customers won’t find the product and required attributes come from the wrong list. Read the suggested category path (e.g. Clothing › Women › T-shirt) and make sure it matches exactly.
3. Review required attributes one by one
- Check that color, size, fit and similar attributes are chosen from the marketplace’s own list.
- In the Excel export, yellow cells are for you to fill in and orange cells are for you to check.
4. Variants, barcodes, stock and price
- Every size/color variant needs its own barcode; never reuse one.
- Color variants should be grouped under the same model code.
- Compare price, stock and VAT rate with your own records.
5. Title and description
- Avoid claims you can’t prove, such as “best”, “cheapest” or “number one”.
- Don’t use other brands’ names as keywords.
- Check spelling and Turkish characters.
6. Images
- The first image is the showcase image; it should show the product most clearly.
- Make sure image links open and follow the marketplace’s image rules.
One-minute pre-publish checklist
- Brand and material confirmed by documentation.
- Category path is correct.
- All required attributes filled and correct.
- Barcodes unique; price/stock/VAT correct.
- No exaggerated or unproven claims in the title.
- Showcase image is right.
